Every weekend, hundreds of walkers and bikers traverse the historic dirt path through town. This October the Walnut Street section is showcasing local Halloween creativity! Fourteen families, plus Mary’s Yarns from Friends of the Dobbs Ferry Library, the Historic Society, Community Nursery School and others have built scarecrows along the Old Croton Aqueduct State Park.
Each scarecrow has a name, and signs identify the proud creators. The creativity unleashed on the aqueduct trail is inspiring, funny and entirely homegrown! Which one is your favorite?? Scarecrows remain on display until the end of October.
