Untermyer Gardens

The Untermyer Gardens Conservancy is dedicated to the revitalization of Samuel Untermyer’s once great gardens, now a City municipal park in Yonkers, New York.  Working with the City of Yonkers, the Conservancy showcases exuberant horticulture in the magnificent landscape designed by Welles Bosworth in 1915.  An emphasis on the lives of Samuel and Minnie Untermyer will deepen the appeal and meaning of these gardens for all people.

Parking:
There are two small lots with spaces for about thirty cars next to the community center at Untermyer.  In addition, there is street parking along North Broadway which is both metered (coin operated) and unmetered.

Note green dotted line at left of map is the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail. There is an access spot directly from the trail.
