Thanks to all the folks who showed up to Aquefest on Saturday!
The weather was perfect for splashing on the AqueDuck, petting goats, and listening to folk music on the porch of the Keeper’s House. The Friends were delighted to host 500 people on the trail. People also attended docent-led continuous tours in the Keeper’s House, and the children’s outdoor entertainment was top notch. State Parks and The Friends want more families to enjoy the outdoors and Aquefest proves the point!
Thanks to our sponsors – Veolia, Westchester Wags, Plitnick, Reader’s Hardware, Stop & Shop and Francie Malina/Compass- and to the many Friends of the OCA volunteers, Parks employees and participating local organizations that made it such a great day to be out on the Trail!
