Thank Nature Day

Thank Nature Day

Sunday, December 1, 2019 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Volunteers are invited to join the Irvington Green Policy Task Force, the Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct and the Hastings Vine Squad in thanking nature during Thanksgiving time for giving us a beautiful home.

Volunteers will work with expert naturalists to improve the Aqueduct’s plant life by removing invasives, lopping tree-strangling vines, and cleaning up litter.

Meet at the Main Street School (MSS) parking lot, 101 Main Street, Irvington, NY 10533. We will work on the trail between MSS and West Sunnyside Lane.

Please bring reusable gloves, loppers or clippers if possible (a limited amount will be available if you cannot bring). Wear long pants and shirts.

Please register in advance here.

Volunteer service agreement can be filled out: here.
