Legendary Ladies along the Aqueduct 2.0

Free, small group, open-air, 5-mile (total) loop hike. Meet at the (free) parking lot at Lenoir Nature Preserve, 19 Dudley St., Yonkers. We will walk north, and discuss the Aqueduct as well as several legendary ladies, including Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton, Mamie Clark, Mary Anne Draper, “Fanny” Garrison Villard, Margaret Sanger, and Mother Cabrini. Instead of returning to the start, you may choose to stop in Dobbs Ferry or Hastings on the return trip for refreshments and an early return via the MTA Train Stations at Dobbs Ferry or Hastings, a short distance from the trail. (From MTA Hudson Line Greystone Train Station: 1.3 mile/30 minute walk.) Required: pre-registration (limited number); masks, and social distancing.
Walk will be rescheduled if weather does not cooperate.
